The Fun-Box game console itself looks very similar to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (aka SNES) game console. When Banana and Banana Bot are fighting in a sewer, Banana accidentally punches Goat for the first time. Goat auditioned (and got the main role) for a movie called "Head in a Fence", which supposedly received negative response from viewers (in-universe).
